Meet the team
Julie Ticcioni, Executive Director
Julie is a licensed CBRF Administrator with more than 20 years of health care experience. Her career journey started with natural childbirth advocacy and has led her to become a true advocate for the senior population. Julie is dedicated to offering person-centered care and looks forward to enriching the lives of seniors at Heartis North Shore. In her free time, Julie enjoys traveling with her six children to experience the culinary diversities in new cities.
Debbie Gross, Resident Care Director
Debbie is an LPN in the state of Wisconsin and Illinois, Certified Dementia Practitioner, Board-Certified Patient Advocate, Certified Dementia Care Specialist, and has been in the senior living industry for nine years. In addition to her clinical education and firsthand experience, she is skilled in providing memory, acute, and long-term care. Debbie applies a holistic approach to care, where the focus is not only on the physical aspect but the spiritual and emotional needs as well. She lives out our community’s mission statement every day while providing an empowering environment that offers autonomy and personal growth for our residents.
Jessica Haase, Vibrant Life Director
Jessica is a painter and photographer with a bachelor’s degree in Art Therapy, which focuses on analyzing the needs of residents and developing projects and adaptations based on those needs. She is also certified in the “Memories in the Making” painting program by the Alzheimer’s Association. After years of working in home care and at senior living communities, Jessica is excited to use her knowledge and expertise to make the Vibrant Life program at Heartis North Shore the best it can be.
Beckie Keill-Martin, Generations Program Director
Beckie is passionate about working with seniors experiencing dementia. She ensures her residents’ days offer meaningful connection and that they are treated with compassionate care. She has more than 20 years of experience in Administrative, Home Health, Assisted Living, and Memory Care environments serving as a charge nurse, Resident Care Director, and Executive Director/Manager. She is an expert in Geriatric, Pediatric, Dementia, Alzheimer’s, and Hospice nursing.
Charles Haxton, Culinary Service Director
Chef Charles began his culinary training at the prestigious Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach, Florida, where he learned classical French, Italian, and eastern European cooking methods. Since then, he’s served as Executive Chef at country clubs and catering companies, and owned and operated a restaurant in New York. Charles recently relocated to Milwaukee with the ambition and desire to provide residents with gourmet meals and exquisite service. When he’s not in the kitchen, Charles enjoys fishing, sports, and dogs.
Angie Mehring, Director of Sales & Marketing
Angie comes to Heartis North Shore with more than 25 years of experience in the hospitality and relocation industries. She spent a decade in sales at Marriott Hotels and was a Corporate Sales Manager at The Pfister Hotel for five years. Most recently, Angie worked at her family’s moving business, where she was inspired to shift her focus to helping guide seniors through the relocation process. In addition to helping residents live vibrant lives, Angie enjoys quality time with her family and friends, spending time outdoors, cooking, and reading.
Natalie Schim, Business Office Director
Natalie graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a bachelor’s degree in Health Science. After six years in the healthcare field, she’s joined the Heartis North Shore team to handle all aspects of billing and human resources. Her positive attitude, approachability, and passion for relationship building make Natalie a great resource for team members, residents, and families. In her free time, Natalie loves to cook, read, and be outside with her rowdy Labrador retriever.
Shannon Goodman, Building Service Director
Shannon has been a Maintenance Director in skilled nursing for 10 years and has experience in both the carpentry and electrical fields. His past credentials readied him for his role managing the planning, organizing, developing, and directing of the general operating maintenance, repair, and housekeeping of the community. He enjoys socializing and forming relationships with our residents, all while keeping the community in tip-top shape. Shannon resides in Milwaukee where he enjoys yardwork, building cabinetry and furniture, and visiting with his three children and three grandchildren.
