They take the time to connect with community members and their families because the better they know the residents, the better equipped they are to monitor and positively affect their health, well-being, and safety.

Meet the team
Julie Ticcioni, Executive Director
Julie is a licensed CBRF Administrator with more than 20 years of health care experience. Her career journey started with natural childbirth advocacy and has led her to become a true advocate for the senior population. Julie is dedicated to offering person-centered care and looks forward to enriching the lives of seniors at Heartis North Shore. In her free time, Julie enjoys traveling with her six children to experience the culinary diversities in new cities.
Ann Willkomm, RN, Resident Care Director
Overseeing all resident care for the community comes naturally to Ann because she’s been working in the field of nursing since she was 16 years old. She started her career as a CNA at a nursing home and has since served in other roles at hospitals and assisted living facilities. She has 20-plus years’ experience as an RN. She takes great pride in helping residents and their families maintain optimal physical and emotional health while also ensuring they find joy in their everyday life.
Jessica Haase, Vibrant Life Director
Jessica is a painter and photographer with a bachelor’s degree in Art Therapy, which focuses on analyzing the needs of residents and developing projects and adaptations based on those needs. She is also certified in the “Memories in the Making” painting program by the Alzheimer’s Association. After years of working in home care and at senior living communities, Jessica is excited to use her knowledge and expertise to make the Vibrant Life program at Heartis North Shore the best it can be.
Angelina Galicia, Generations Program Director
Every day, Angelina takes great pride in orchestrating the Care & Programming Team to help enrich the lives of memory care residents. She enjoys conversing with each of them and learning their life stories. Prior to joining Heartis North Shore, Angelina served in caregiver and supervisor roles in another memory care community. In her free time, she enjoys barbering and hanging out by the water.
Charles Haxton, Culinary Service Director
Chef Charles began his culinary training at the prestigious Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach, Florida, where he learned classical French, Italian, and eastern European cooking methods. Since then, he’s served as Executive Chef at country clubs and catering companies, and owned and operated a restaurant in New York. Charles recently relocated to Milwaukee with the ambition and desire to provide residents with gourmet meals and exquisite service. When he’s not in the kitchen, Charles enjoys fishing, sports, and dogs.
Angie Mehring, Director of Sales & Marketing
Angie comes to Heartis North Shore with more than 25 years of experience in the hospitality and relocation industries. She spent a decade in sales at Marriott Hotels and was a Corporate Sales Manager at The Pfister Hotel for five years. Most recently, Angie worked at her family’s moving business, where she was inspired to shift her focus to helping guide seniors through the relocation process. In addition to helping residents live vibrant lives, Angie enjoys quality time with her family and friends, spending time outdoors, cooking, and reading.
Natalie Schim, Business Office Director
Natalie graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a bachelor’s degree in Health Science. After six years in the healthcare field, she’s joined the Heartis North Shore team to handle all aspects of billing and human resources. Her positive attitude, approachability, and passion for relationship building make Natalie a great resource for team members, residents, and families. In her free time, Natalie loves to cook, read, and be outside with her rowdy Labrador retriever.
Mike Krisik, Building Service Director
Mike’s experience in home building, construction, and maintenance readied him for his role managing the planning, organizing, developing, and directing of the general operating maintenance, repair, and housekeeping of the community. Mike also helps residents move in and get settled in their apartments because it gives him the opportunity to connect one-on-one and learn their story. Outside of work, Mike enjoys remodeling projects and watching baseball with his son.
