Our team is comprised of highly qualified and experienced individuals who are passionate about providing supportive care in an inspiring environment. They take the time to connect with community members and their families because the better they know the residents, the better equipped they are to monitor and positively affect their health, well being, and safety. From living options and health services to events and dining, if you have questions, they have answers.

Yardley Jennifer Armagost, Executive Director

Jennifer Armagost, Executive Director

From an early age, Jennifer felt that serving seniors was her calling and passion. She has now worked with seniors and their families for over 25 years. Originally from the Mayfair section of Northeast Philadelphia, Jennifer attended Penn State University to study Human Development and Family Studies with a focus on Adult Development and Aging. She then settled in Bucks County, married, and began her career in Senior Living.

As our Executive Director, Jennifer is dedicated to partnering with her professional team to ensure the safety, comfort, quality care, and compassion all seniors deserve. She is excited to be joining the Heartis Yardley family, and she is inspired to embrace and enrich the culture each day.

Outside of Heartis, she enjoys watching movies with her husband and three boys, cooking, reading, cheering on the Phillies and Eagles, and tending to her chickens.

Yardley Brittany Nance, LPN, Resident Care Director

Brittany Nance, LPN, Resident Care Director

Brittany has over 10 years of experience in the healthcare field. Her dedication is evident in her progression over that time, from caregiver to medication tech to becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse and our Resident Care Director here at Heartis Yardley. The compassion and care Brittany has for our residents sets an example for all, and as a care leader, she fosters teamwork and is always ready to assist with any task. Brittany hails from New Jersey and is a Bucks County College graduate. When not at Heartis Yardley, she runs an entrepreneurial beauty business and plans events supporting women. She also loves spending time with family and travelling.

Daily Goal: To be better than yesterday.

Yardley Diane M. Evans, Vibrant Life Director

Diane M. Evans, Vibrant Life Director

Diane has worked in healthcare for over 14 years, and she has spent the past 11 years in the Senior Living field. Diane possesses a strong commitment to service and a genuine passion for helping others. She enjoys creating vibrant and engaging activities for our residents that enhance their lives – mind, body, and spirit. Diane’s favorite part of her role as Vibrant Life Director is putting smiles on the faces of our residents and learning from their life stories and experiences. She lives in South Philadelphia and, when not working with our residents, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Daily Goal: Always try to leave people better than you found them. Hug the hurt. Kiss the broken. Befriend the lost. Love the lonely.

Yardley Matthew Cummins, CDM, Culinary Services Director

Matthew Cummins, CDM, Culinary Services Director

With over 10 years in the culinary field, Matthew brings the expertise and service of a restaurant to the Heartis Yardley community. He is a graduate of the University of Delaware HRIM program and an accredited Certified Dietary Manager. With his experiences as a restaurant manager, head chef, and co-founder of the local Johnson Hall Coffee House, Matthew utilizes his passion for fresh food and caring service to deliver delicious meals daily. Matthew has a special passion for brunch and specializes in crepes with fresh whipped cream, scratch-made compotes, and of course, a la mode. When not serving the residents, he spends time hiking, gardening, and enjoying the outdoors with his family.

Yardley Patrice Y. Martin, Director of Sales & Marketing

Patrice Y. Martin, Director of Sales & Marketing

Patrice draws upon her extensive background in sales and marketing when connecting with future residents, families, and community partners. Having specialized in senior living for the past six years, she is guided by her passion to serve others. Patrice learns the life stories of residents so she can contribute to supporting their needs and interests. Her experience in residential, independent, and assisted living communities enhances her dedication to finding the perfect home to complement and enrich the lifestyle of residents. A native of Bucks County, Patrice returned home after several years of traveling to be near her family, raise her two children, and serve the community she loves. She starts her day with meditation, prayer, and coffee, and also enjoys gardening, riding her bike, and traveling.

Yardley Matthew Nguyen, Director of Sales & Marketing

Matthew Nguyen, Director of Sales & Marketing

With 10 years of healthcare and senior living experience, Matthew finds it truly rewarding to witness the organic relationships being built with each resident as they, in turn, influence the growth of a tight-knit community. As a result of his resident-centered approach, Matthew thoughtfully connects with prospective residents and their families, values their needs, and offers solutions responsive to those needs. These experiences, coupled with his empathetic nature, allow him to gain a valuable understanding of the challenges residents experience when planning their next step. Matthew’s passion for those he serves helps him paint a tailored and vivid picture of the endless possibilities when moving to Heartis Yardley. Outside of serving the community, Matthew enjoys winding down by spending time with family, traveling, and playing golf.

Yardley Zelena Durieux, Generations Program Director

Zelena Durieux, Generations Program Director

A native of New Jersey, Zelena has lived in Pennsylvania for 10 years. She brings over 25 years of nursing experience that has included care from infancy to geriatrics. She has enjoyed the variety of experiences that make her the passionate and dedicated professional she is today, though one thing she particularly treasures about caring for seniors is all that can be learned from them.

In her spare time, Zelena loves investing time in crafts, crocheting, and making one-of-a-kind clothing for infants.

Daily Goal: Live presently.
Mantra: “I am grateful and thankful for all that I have, have had, and will have.”

Yardley Sean Feijo, Business Office Director

Sean Feijo, Business Office Director

Sean has worked in senior living for over 12 years and brings a wide range of experience to his position as Business Office Director. He has worked within a variety of environments, from a skilled nursing setting to independent living and assisted living communities. He has also gained experience in a variety of roles. Starting as a dishwasher, he worked his way up to Food Service Director, and he also assisted in the activities department. Sean also worked as Certified Nursing Assistant and receptionist, and it was this experience that led him to his home in the business office, where he has served for six years.

Sean combines this variety of knowledge with his passion for helping others to positively impact everyone he encounters at Heartis Yardley. In his free time, Sean enjoys cooking, football, playing the drums, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.

Yardley Carlos Ruiz, Director of Facilities

Carlos Ruiz, Director of Facilities

As Director of Facilities for Heartis Yardley, Carlos maintains our high-level facility with his tireless work ethic while also energetically meeting the needs of the residents and team. Carlos was born in Bogota, Colombia, and it’s there that he learned the value of hard work. He held various jobs beginning at age 12, and he was always looking for ways to learn and improve his life. This perseverance also led to his completion of two university degrees. Though Carlos worked hard and continues to do so, he also learned the value of playing hard. His time in Colombia included adventures in hot-air ballooning, hang gliding, and motocross.

Carlos has now lived in Pennsylvania for 19 years, and he is happy to be in America, where he feels anyone can get ahead with hard work. When not ensuring that Heartis Yardley is in tip-top shape, he loves to travel, which he has done extensively. At home in Southampton, he enjoys restoring old items (including his 18th century farmhouse) and spending time with his wife, their many animals, and his grandchildren.
