Ryan Amthor, Executive Chef
Chef Ryan was born and raised in the small Texas town of San Saba, which happens to be the pecan capital of the world. As a kid, he would visit the pecan bottoms to swim, fish, and cook out with friends. While it took some time to perfect his skills, Ryan has been in love with cooking, smoking, and grilling ever since.
After graduating culinary school, Ryan worked at five-star country clubs, high-end steakhouses, and even a Texas Monthly Top 50 BBQ food truck. Now he enjoys spending his time making fine cuisine for the residents of Heartis Waco.
