As COVID-19 continues to spread across the United States, we continue to take precautionary steps and follow guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), as well as the Georgia and Buckhead Departments of Health.

Our primary focus at this time is prevention, education, and communication. We are acting with an abundance of caution, reinforcing our policies and procedures and infection-control measures with our team members. Throughout Heartis communities, we are providing anti-bacterial hand soap and additional sanitation stations, as well as handwashing hygiene training. We have also engaged our supply partners to ensure we have appropriate emergency supplies should the need arise.

In an effort to ensure team members and future residents stay in optimal health, we are asking anyone with a fever, cough, or other flu-like symptoms, or who has traveled to an area of known infections within the past 14 days, to refrain from visiting the community.

Visitor Protocol

If you’ve scheduled an appointment with our team, you’ll receive an email confirmation that outlines visitor protocol and includes an advance copy of our five COVID-19 screening questions.

When you arrive at Heartis Buckhead, please remain in your car and call our office at 678-870-4908. We’ll ask the COVID-19 screening questions, and if you answer no to all, then we’ll meet you outside to take your temperature. If your temperature is below 100℉, we’ll proceed with our scheduled in-person meeting. Otherwise, we can FaceTime or Zoom, or reschedule for another time when you’re feeling better.

Of course, our team will be wearing masks and practicing safe social distancing throughout the appointment. We ask that guests also wear a mask, which we will have available if needed.
