Caring for the community
Our team is made up of highly qualified and experienced individuals who are passionate about providing personalized care in an inspiring environment. They take the time to connect with community members and their families because the better they know the residents, the better equipped they are to monitor and positively affect their health, well-being, and safety.
From living options and health services to events and dining, if you have questions, they have answers.
Meet the team
Danielle Tsevas, Senior Executive Director
In 1997, Danielle started her career as a CNA and discovered her passion for serving residents and being part of a community. Since then, she’s obtained her bachelor’s in Gerontology and Long-Term Care Administration from Kent State University and worked as an Assistant Administrator, Administrator, and Executive Director. Danielle’s continued commitment to our community is fueled by the complexity of managing operations and the simplicity of making residents smile every day.
Caitlin Miller, Senior Resident Care Director
Caitlin began her career in 2009 as a CNA working in a Memory Care community. She quickly realized she belonged in senior living, and that she thrives by enhancing residents’ lives and providing purpose. Caitlin worked while also attending school, became a nurse in 2014, and continued her journey in senior living. In 2020, she attended Teepa Snow’s PAC training workshop and became certified as an independent PAC trainer. Caitlin especially finds peace in working with residents living with dementia, and she utilizes her knowledge and skills to create a positive dementia-care culture every day. In addition to work, Caitlin enjoys living a healthy lifestyle including exercise, spending time with loved ones, and playing with her dog.
Olivia Postel, Vibrant Life Director
Olivia began working with seniors in 2016 as a caregiver. With a motivation and passion for making a difference, it’s her mission each day to bring a smile and a laugh to her residents and to remind them how uniquely special they are. Olivia also enjoys the challenge of leading projects with enthusiasm and creativity. Whether it’s preparing special holiday packages for each resident or raising money for The Walk to End Alzheimer’s, she is always looking for ways to bring value to our community and residents.
When she isn’t working or watching “The Golden Girls,” she enjoys spending quality time with her family, friends, and dog Theo.
Adam Heck, Culinary Service Director
Adam has worked as a chef and food service manager for more than 18 years. Since getting his degree in culinary arts, he’s managed kitchens and teams in the gaming, healthcare, hospitality, and senior living industries. While honing his craft has always been a priority, Adam is most motivated by the satisfaction of his customers. The happier residents are with his healthy and delicious entrées, the happier he is with the overall dining experience he was able to create.
Natalie Distasio, Senior Director of Sales and Marketing
Natalie graduated from Benedictine University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, then started her healthcare career working in the admissions department at a hospice agency. It was her team’s compassion for families in need that inspired Natalie to become a community liaison. She enjoys her work because she sees it as an opportunity to help seniors and their loved ones navigate the healthcare system and find the care they need when they need it.
Erica Fanciullacci, Senior Generations Program Director
After graduating from Illinois State University, Erica started her career in senior living as an Activity Aid. Over the past seven years, she’s focused her efforts on making a positive impact on seniors with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. To improve her abilities as a Memory Care Director, Erica continues to learn from newly published resources and scientific research. When she’s not busy bettering the lives of residents, she’s writing, reading, puzzling, or playing with her rescue dog.
Dawn Sickler, Business Office Director
It all started with a volunteer position in 2014. After that, Dawn was hired as a Life Engagement Specialist at Autumn Leaves before becoming their Business Office Manager in 2018. She joined Heartis Orland Park in February 2020, and we’re lucky to have such a passionate person on our team. She cares deeply for the community and enjoys sharing her love of music, reading, and listening to the rain.
Rik Nelson, Senior Building Service Director
After 35 years working his dream job at the Naperville Community School District, Rik retired from his first career and started looking for his next one. He found himself at home as Maintenance Manager of a memory care community in Oswego before bringing his warm personality and sense of humor to our doorstep. He enjoys using his skills to keep Heartis Orland Park in working order, but he also finds joy in interacting with the staff and residents, who he considers his close friends and family.
