Danielle Tsevas bio image

Danielle Tsevas, Senior Executive Director

In 1997, Danielle started her career as a CNA and discovered her passion for serving residents and being part of a community. Since then, Danielle has obtained her bachelor’s degree in gerontology and long-term care administration from Kent State University and worked as an assistant administrator, administrator and executive director. Danielle’s continued commitment to our community is fueled by the complexity of managing operations and the simplicity of making residents smile every day. She is the recipient of Integral Senior Living’s 2023 Executive Director of the Year award.

Cheryl Ramlal

Cheryl Ramlal, Resident Care Director

Cheryl Ramlal brings over 27 years of experience as a nurse to her role as Resident Care director at Heartis Orland Park. She has experience in a variety of fields, including home health, long-term care, skilled nursing care, memory care, assisted living and more. Cheryl uses a warm approach in working with team members, residents and families and has the unique ability to make connections with people instantly.

In her spare time, Cheryl enjoys spending time with her family, cooking traditional Trinidadian food, and filling her home with love and laughter.

Melissa Bottorff, Vibrant Life® Director

Melissa Bottorff is the Vibrant Life® director at Heartis Orland Park. She has a background in social work and brings several years of senior living experience to the position. Melissa is passionate about making seniors feel included and special, and strives to provide lots of fun and unique programming for residents to get involved in.

In her free time, Melissa enjoys going to the beach, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her friends and family.

Patrick Glenn CSD headshot

Patrick Glenn, Culinary Services Director

Born and raised in Chicago, Patrick Glenn has been cooking since the age of 10 for family and friends and professionally since 2011. He holds degrees in both culinary arts and hospitality management. While Patrick loves all cuisines, he has an affinity for Mediterranean and Latin flavors. He has had the privilege of working with some of the best chefs from around the world, including chefs featured on the Food Network. You can also find Patrick featured in photos in the popular cookbook “Indian for Everyone.”

Patrick served 26 years in the United States Air Force as fighter aircraft mechanic, a production superintendent, a first sergeant and an E-7/master sergeant, one of the top three enlisted ranks in the Air Force.

Family and close relationships are what Patrick values the most; he has five children and considers his father to be his hero.

Patrick stated, “My desire is that, when anyone experiences my food, they are taken on a memorable culinary journey of tastes, aromas and textures that excites all their senses!”

Natalie Distasio Director of Sales and Marketing

Natalie Distasio, Senior Director of Sales and Marketing

Natalie graduated from Benedictine University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, then started her healthcare career working in the admissions department at a hospice agency. It was her team’s compassion for families in need that inspired Natalie to become a community liaison. She enjoys her work because she sees it as an opportunity to help seniors and their loved ones navigate the healthcare system and find the care they need when they need it.

Morgan White, Generations® Program Director

Morgan White is the Generations® Program director for the Heartis Orland Park team. She started her career in the senior living industry as a server and fell in love with senior living as she made connections with the residents. After receiving her bachelor’s degree from Illinois State University, she knew she wanted to continue with her passion for senior living. Morgan joined Heartis Orland Park in 2019 as the Generations Program coordinator, before being promoted to Generations Program director this year. Morgan is passionate about providing quality programming and care for residents living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.

When Morgan is not working, she enjoys reading, playing with her dog Gus, and spending quality time with family and friends.

Elichevia Bohannon, Business Office Director

Elichevia Bohannon is the Business Office director at Heartis Orland Park. She first saw the need for dedicated professionals in the senior living space while working in property management, and then decided to make the change to senior living in 2018. Elichevia enjoys spending time with the residents and their families in order to build trust and solid, lasting relationships.

Outside of work, Elichevia can often be found volunteering, shopping, reading, catching up on her favorite shows, and spending time with her daughter.

Rik Nelson, Senior Building Service Director

After 35 years working his dream job at the Naperville Community School District, Rik retired from his first career and started looking for his next one. He found himself at home as Maintenance Manager of a memory care community in Oswego before bringing his warm personality and sense of humor to our doorstep. He enjoys using his skills to keep Heartis Orland Park in working order, but he also finds joy in interacting with the staff and residents, who he considers his close friends and family.
