Daniel Luna, Culinary Service Director
Chef Daniel ensures that our residents enjoy healthy cuisine at every meal. Daniel joined Heartis in 2018 and was promoted to Executive Chef in 2021. He has studied extensively with fine chefs in Chicago, and he attributes his skill and love of French, Italian, and Spanish cuisines to this training. Daniel’s hometown of Puebla, Mexico, is also represented in one of his favorite dishes to make, chicken mole. When Daniel is not in the kitchen at Heartis North Shore, he may be delighting our residents by playing our baby grand piano. He also plays piano at his church and enjoys time with his wife and two children.
