Shelia Carwile, Executive Director

Shelia Carwile embarked on her senior living career over 16 years ago as a marketing director, swiftly transitioning into operational roles like executive director, operations specialist and vice president of Operations within various senior living organizations across the Southwest. Relocating to Georgia from Texas to be closer to family, Shelia now proudly serves as part of the team at Heartis Fayetteville. Her dedication has always been to contribute toward the best experience possible for residents, their family members and the staff who serve them. When asked what she feels contributes the most toward the excellent care and attention given at Heartis Fayetteville, she says the supportive leadership sharing the priorities of the team makes all the difference.   

“Having a chain of command that cares about culture and maintains high standards is what ensures a resident will have the experience here that they expect and deserve,” Shelia said. 

Outside of work, Shelia enjoys cheering on Auburn football, cherishing moments with her family, and playing acoustic guitar and piano.

Mark Lenox, Director of Sales and Marketing

Mark began his senior living career over 20 years ago and has never looked back! He served several communities in the Atlanta area as a Director of Sales and Marketing before joining a senior living consulting firm. As a consultant, he specialized in sales and marketing for expansions, new communities, and communities looking to increase occupancy. Mark decided to quit traveling for work during the pandemic and focus his talents within the Heartis Fayetteville community setting.

What Mark likes most about his role is getting to know different people from various walks of life and learning from their many experiences. His strength and true joy is his ability and sincere desire to build relationships with those around him.

Mark graduated from the University of West Georgia with a degree in mass communications and a minor in marketing. He resides with his wife and son in Tyrone, and also has two grown children living in the Atlanta area.

Annie Singh-Quern, Director of Sales and Marketing

As a director of Sales and Marketing, Annie Singh-Quern helps grow the Heartis Fayetteville family with more wonderful residents, and she couldn’t be more pleased. She understands that behind each face is a story, and she’s always ready to listen when a future resident walks through the door looking for a new home.

Annie has 20 years of both nonprofit and for-profit experience in marketing, sales, public relations and project management in the health care and senior living industries. Annie graduated from the University of Minnesota with a B.A. degree in microbiology and a minor in English. She also holds an M.A. degree in health and human services administration with an emphasis in marketing from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota in Minneapolis.

When she is not among her Heartis Fayetteville family, you’ll find Annie reading, writing, visiting the local theater, looking for a great bargain in an antiques store, or enjoying dinner with family and friends.

Khadaija Lemons, Resident Care Director

Khadaija Lemons is Heartis Fayetteville’s Resident Care director and has over 12 years of health care experience. Her favorite part of the job is working with residents and their families. In her spare time, she enjoys shopping, cooking and spending time with family.

Cathy Robinson, Vibrant Life® Director

Cathy began working with seniors at a local senior activity center over 15 years ago and brought her passion for seniors and activities to Heartis in 2019. She constantly thinks outside the box to create wonderful, meaningful activities, outings and events. From dance parties, daily exercises and games to creative crafts, cornhole tournaments and happy hours, Cathy is instrumental in ensuring our Independent Living residents thrive. Her dedication and enthusiasm are truly amazing.

Marquita Jones, Culinary Services Director

Marquita Jones has more than 18 years of experience in various culinary settings. Her passion for cooking sparked when she was a little girl and would watch her grandmother prepare family meals. Marquita enrolled in Le Cordon Bleu, where she completed her formal training in culinary arts. Her talent and skills took her through the ranks of garde-manger and executive chef. As Heartis Fayetteville’s Culinary Services director, Marquita remains passionate about creating wholesome quality meals that taste as appetizing as they look for our residents.

When Marquita is not with her culinary team creating another flavorful favorite for her residents, she enjoys time with her family at home.

Kendra Davis, Generations Program Director

Kendra began her career as a Certified Nursing Assistant in 2008, and she advanced in the health care field by becoming a Certified Dementia Practitioner. She worked as an Activities Assistant at a memory care community, and there found a great sense of joy in creating activities that made her residents smile and laugh. With her passion for working with residents living with dementia, Kendra became a part of our family here at Heartis Fayetteville in 2019.

Susan McAdams

Susan McAdams, Business Office Director

Susan, a native Georgian, is no stranger to hard work and dedication. She has two daughters and one son, and 30 years of homeschooling under her belt. Susan loves bringing joy to Heartis residents every day. When not at Heartis, she enjoys spending time with her five grandchildren.
