Meet the team
Latoiya Perry, Executive Director
Latoiya Perry grew up in Hueytown, Alabama, a small suburb of Birmingham. She attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham, majoring in Human Resource Management. She has over 20 years of business management and customer relations experience. Latoiya began her career in Senior Living as an Assistant Executive Director in 2007, and in 2019 she joined the Heartis Fayetteville team as the Business Office Director. The following year, she was promoted to Executive Director.
Latoiya is committed to helping seniors enjoy life to the fullest and meeting the ever-changing needs of the community she serves. She appreciates that Heartis is distinctly resident-focused and upholds a commitment to meet individuals’ needs without compromising dignity and independence. Connecting with the residents, families, and team members is her greatest pleasure at Heartis Fayetteville.
In her free time, Latoiya enjoys Pure Barre, cooking, watching British crime dramas, and spending time with her family, including two sons and twin daughters.
Cathy Robinson, Vibrant Life Director
Cathy began working with seniors at a local senior activity center over 15 years ago and brought her passion for seniors and activities to Heartis in 2019. She constantly thinks outside the box to create wonderful, meaningful activities, outings, and events. From dance parties, daily exercises, and games to creative crafts, cornhole tournaments, and happy hours, Cathy is instrumental in ensuring our Independent Living residents thrive. Her dedication and enthusiasm are truly amazing.
Darlene McKnight, Business Office Director
When Darlene served as a weekend concierge at Heartis Fayetteville’s Grand Opening in the summer of 2018, a whole new life opened for her. She soon realized that “Heartis is where her heart is.” With her newfound love and admiration for the Heartis community, Darlene was pleased to join us in a full-time position. With over 20 years of business management experience, she finds purpose and joy in interacting with residents and enhancing their lives in her role as Business Office Director.
Away from Heartis, Darlene enjoys fostering children in need and spending time with her two daughters.
Kayla Griffin, Vibrant Life Director
Kayla Griffin began her career with seniors in 2015 as a Certified Nursing Assistant. During her two years as a CNA, she developed a passion for keeping seniors active and engaged. She became Vibrant Life Director at Heartis in June 2018.
Kayla enjoys keeping our Assisted Living residents active and thriving. She loves getting to know them, and she treats each one as if they were family.
Kendra Davis, Generations Program Director
Kendra began her career as a Certified Nursing Assistant in 2008, and she advanced in the healthcare field by becoming a Certified Dementia Practitioner. She worked as an Activities Assistant at a Memory Care community, and there found a great sense of joy in creating activities that made her residents smile and laugh. With her passion for working with residents living with dementia, Kendra became a part of our family here at Heartis Fayetteville in 2019.
Tim Curry, Building Services Director
Tim joined Heartis in October 2020. With his excellent work ethic, he was promoted from Building Services Assistant to Building Services Director quickly. When asked what he loves most about Heartis, Tim enthusiastically answers, “Serving the residents.” He also says that Heartis Fayetteville feels like home, and that he looks forward to coming to work every day. In his free time, Tim enjoys reading and playing video games.
Chef Todd Rossi, Culinary Services Director
Chef Todd attended the Art Institute of Atlanta, where he earned his degree in Culinary Science. His experience in the culinary field spans 20 years and includes fine dining, Senior Living, and casual concepts. Todd lives in Sharpsburg, Georgia, with his wife Danielle and sons Jacob and Joseph. Victor Schloss, Director of Sales and Marketing
Professionally and privately, Victor has devoted his life to investing in people and providing solutions to their needs. His diverse background in law enforcement and as a pastor has allowed him to live a life of service that he now continues as a Director of Sales and Marketing for Heartis. Victor relocated to the Fayetteville area to be closer to his four beautiful children. Guiding his growing children and working with seniors are Victor’s greatest passions.
