Caring for the community
Our team is made up of highly qualified and experienced individuals who are passionate about providing personalized care in an inspiring environment. They take the time to connect with community members and their families because the better they know the residents, the better equipped they are to monitor and positively affect their health, well-being, and safety.

Since 2013, he has served as sales director, assistant executive director and executive director for several senior living communities in Texas before joining the Heartis Clear Lake team. Jerry truly has a passion for senior adults and holds their wellness and safety in the highest regard.
Jerry, his wife and their four children recently relocated to the Houston area, and they are thoroughly enjoying the food, music, art and culture of the city. Terryl Troyer, Director of Sales and Marketing
Terryl Troyer, Heartis Clear Lake’s director of Sales and Marketing, has worked with seniors for over 23 years, in both long-term care pharmaceutical sales and senior living. After assisting her own parents in finding the right community for their lifestyle, she understands how to empathize with a family’s situations and ensure that they find the best community for their loved ones. She likes to explain to families that, once she let someone else help care for her parents, she got to be their daughter again and is grateful for that renewed experience.
After working with senior living communities in Wisconsin, her family brought her down to Texas, where she looks forward to learning all that the great state has to offer.
Michelle Parker, Vibrant Life® Director
Michelle Parker began working at Heartis Clear Lake nearly three years ago. She started as a server in the dining room and quickly realized how much she enjoyed interacting with the residents. Her favorite part of the day is watching the residents have fun while engaging with various activities, so she jumped at the opportunity to become the Vibrant Life® director.
As VLD, Michelle strives every day to create an engaging and wholesome environment that helps keep the residents’ minds and bodies active. She is excited to help build a new culture around the community that benefits not only the residents, but their families and the staff as well. Michelle is the mother of three wonderful children, and her motto is “Never settle for good enough; good is the enemy of great.”
