Petros Jaferis, Executive Chef

After serving in the military, Petros spent years working in IT before deciding to go to Florida Culinary Institute. There, he learned the skills he would need to open his own restaurant, work as a private chef at multiple residences, be featured in various publications for his cheese-making and bread-baking skills, and win a James Beard contest award.

The transition to working in a senior living community occurred when Petros was given the opportunity to combine his passion for people and food – and it’s been the most rewarding stage of his career so far. He enjoys getting to know the interesting and inspiring residents who provide unmatched perspective on living life to the fullest.
